subject at
further from
the camera; to create a
shorter depth of
field,
photographing
closer to the
subject.
Note that
the depth of
field is
deeper behind the
focused
subject and
is
shallower
in front
of
it.
Lens
with
a short
focusing length,
such as
wide
angle lens, have
a deeper depth of
field
and can be
used
for
quick
focusing; lenses with long focusing
lengths,
suchas telephotos,
a shallower depth of
field
and
less
of
the foreground
and background
will
be
in focus.
