If the CPI Portable Generator displays a message indicating that the requested density is not programmed, you can try the following:
* Select another density or program the requested density step.
* Recalibrate the X-ray tube or select a calibrated parameter.
* Reset the DAP.
* Re-evaluate technique factors and allow the generator to cool if possible, to prevent overheating.
* Allow the generator to cool sufficiently to allow the requested exposure.
* Select a valid parameter.
* Wait for the anode to cool.
* Reset the time and date.
* Power the unit off and retry the rotor start.
* Check for an open filament in the X-ray tube, poor connections in the cathode cable, and fuses on the filament board(s).
