TO CONTROL SNOW DISCHARGE
e Turnthecrankassemblyto setthedirection ofthe
snowthrowing,
e Loosenthe wing knobon the chutedeflectorand
move the deflectorto set the distance Move the
deflectorUP for more distance,DOWN for less
distanceThen tightenthe wingknob(Fig 9)_
TO STOP YOUR SNOW THROWER
e To stop throwingsnow, release the auger drive
lever{See Fig 11)o
e To stopthe track, releasethe tractiondrive lever.
e To stoptheengine,pushthe throttlecontrolleverto
offand pull outthe ignitionkey (See Fig, 10)
NOTE: DO NOT turn key.

the speed shifterlever to the speed you desire

_hifferlever intotheappropriatecoloredareaonthe
control panel,
Red - Wet, Heavy, Slushy, Extra Deep
Amber - Moderate
White - Very Light
Green - Transport only
® Engage the traction drive lever (See Fig. 11, left
hand),,As thesnowthrowerstarts to move, maintain
a firm hold on the handles, and guide the snow
throweralong the cleadng path Do not attempt to
pushthe snow thrower.
• To move the snow throwerbackward,move the
speedshifterleverinto first orsecondreverseand
engagethetractiondrivelever (lefthand).
IMPORTANT: NEVER MOVETHE SPEED SHIFTER
LEVER WHILE THE TRACTION LE-
VER IS DOWN
TO THROW SNOW
e Pushdown the auger drive lever(See Fig, 11, dght
hand).
e Release to stop throwing snow.
