How to troubleshoot a Crane Water Pump that will not run?
- CcevansAug 11, 2025
If your Crane Water Pump isn't running, start by checking all electrical connections to ensure they are secure. An electrician should measure the current in the motor leads. If the current is within ±20% of the locked rotor Amps, the impeller is likely locked. If the current reads 0, the overload might be tripped. In that case, remove power, let the pump cool down, and then recheck the current. It might be due to a poor electrical connection, a blown fuse, a tripped breaker, another interruption of power, or an improper power supply.
