Three alarm functions of the laser module
The intelligent laser module has three alarm functions: low airflow alarm ($153), flame
alarm ($154) and lens contamination alarm ($155). They can be enabled or disabled. The
indicator light will still indicate the current situation normally when disabled but it won’t stop
working. You can connect the machine and the software through the data cable, enter $$ in
console and press Enter to check whether the alarm function is enabled (0-Disabled; 1-Enabled).
If you need to enable or disable the alarm function, please enter the following command in
the console and press Enter:
Enable low airflow alarm: $153=1
Enable flame alarm: $154=1
Enable lens contamination alarm: $155=1
Disable low airflow alarm: $153=0
Disable flame alarm: $154=0
Disable lens contamination alarm: $155=0
What should I do if it alarms?
1. The AIR will flash red if the machine is in standby mode, the connection of the air pump is
abnormal, or the silicone air tube is not connected or twisted. You should check the air pump and
the silicone air tube at this time;
2. The FIRE of the laser module will flash red, stop working and move to the side away from the
flame when the flame is detected during cutting flammable materials (such as cardboard,
paulownia wood) slowly. At this time, you can press the reset button to clear the alarm
information. The FIRE will turn orange, indicating that there is a risk of fire but you can press
START to continue working. The FIRE will turn green after restarting the machine;
3. The LENS will flash red and the machine will stop working if the lens is dirty (such as
