Using the Web Interface
For a DM NVX device that is set to Transmitter mode, enable or disable adaptive bit rate
functionality:
1. Click the Settings tab and then click Stream.
2. In the Advanced section, set the Adaptive Bitrate toggle switch in the On (right)
position to enable the functionality. To disable the adaptive bit rate, set the
toggle switch in the Off (left) position (default setting).

NOTE: When adaptive bit rate functionality is enabled, a bit rate cannot be set in the
Bitrate drop-down list.
Using SIMPL Windows
Enable or disable adaptive bit rate functionality in Slot-01: Stream Transmit. Trigger the
<AdaptiveBitrateModeEnable> digital input join to enable adaptive bit rate functionality.
To disable adaptive bit rate functionality, trigger the
<AdaptiveBitrateModeDisable>
digital input join. For additional information, refer to the SIMPL Windows help file.
