What to do if my Crown CTs sound is distorted?
    • K
      Kristina ColeJul 26, 2025
If your Crown Amplifier produces distorted sound, check if the load is wired correctly or if the Stereo/Mono mode switch is set correctly. Also, the input might be overloaded by a signal level that is too high. In this case, turn down your amplifier level controls, or turn down the input signal, until the clip light goes out.

Why my Crown CTs Amplifier has no sound?
    • T
      Tamara WaltersJul 29, 2025
If your Crown Amplifier has no sound even though it has power, ensure the speakers are connected. If they are, diagnose and replace any failed speaker. Also, check for a short on the amplifier output by disconnecting your speakers from the affected channel(s) one by one to determine if one of the loads is shorted. Finally, ensure the channel has not been set to standby mode via the control system, and change the channel setting from standby mode if necessary.

If the power indicator is off on your Crown Amplifier, first check the power connections to ensure the amplifier has AC power. Then, check that the amplifier’s Power switch is on. Ensure the amplifier is plugged into the power receptacle. If the amplifier output level is too high, allow the unit to cool, turn down the Level controls, and press the Reset Switch on the back panel.
