Step 1
Open the vehicle's trunk / rear door.
Remove all trunk floor coverings.
Step 3
Starting on the driver side of the trunk,
remove the fasteners from the side trim panel.
Pull back on the plastic side wall to
locate the vehicle taillight wiring connectors.
The connectors will be similar to those
on your new custom wiring product.
Separate the connectors from the
taillight housing taking care not
to damage the locking tabs.
Step 5
On the trunk floor, remove the grommet
from which the vehicle taillight wiring harness
is passing through from the inside of trunk
to underneath the vehicle
Step 2
Remove the fasteners securing the rear scuff
panel. Remove the scuff panel by pulling out
on the bottom and then up. Take care not to
damage the alignment tabs on the back.
Step 4
Insert the custom wiring end with red wire between the separated connectors.
Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
