Step 7
Locate the vehicle taillight turn signal
connector underneath the vehicle behind
the tire. The connectors will be similar
to those on the custom wiring connector.
Separate the connectors taking care
not to damage the locking tabs.
Insert the custom wiring end with
yellow wire between the separated
connectors. Make sure the connectors
are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
Reseat the grommet. Use the provided
sealant to seal the cut in the grommet
and around all the wires.
Secure any loose wires
with the provided cable ties.
Step 9
On the driver
side behind the side wall panel, locate a suitable grounding point
near the connector such as an existing screw with nut in the vehicle frame or drill
a 3/32" pilot hole for the provided screw. The area should be free of rust, dirt and
paint. Secure the white ground wire using the ring terminal and provided screw.

Check for miscellaneous items that may be hidden behind or under
any surface before drilling to avoid damage and / or personal injury.
Step 8
Loosen the passenger-side side wall panel, route the custom wiring end with the green
wire to behind the removed scuff panels. Repeat steps 5 through 7 on the passenger side.
Step 6
Remove the grommet and cut
a slit large enough to route the
new custom wiring end though.
Route the custom wiring end with the yellow
and green wires out through the grommet
opening and though the slit in the grommet
from the trunk out to the taillight connector.
