12 ANCHORAGES
Anchorages must be used when the scaffold is unstable e.g. due to excessive wind force
or if the maximum mobile scaffold tower platform height (12m. inside, 8m. outside) is
exceeded. The anchorages must be solid and be fixed to both uprights of the frame with
brackets or swivel joints. Anchor on solid and suitable places to a construction or building.
At least every 4 metres in height, 2 anchorages must be fitted (i.e. 1 per frame).
13 DISMANTLING THE MOBILE SCAFFOLD TOWER
Dismantling the mobile scaffold tower takes place in reverse order. Start at the top by
removing the toe boards and toe board brackets.
Also use Safe Guard guardrail frames during dismantling to prevent falls.
Disassemble the mobile scaffold tower from top to bottom. Do not throw the components
down!

of the dent and shape of the dent;
- If square/rectangular tubes have one or more dull dents with a depth of more than 2.0 mm;
- If the tubes have one or more sharp dents or tears, regardless of the length/depth and location
of the dent(s)/ tear.
Moving components including casters, must be clean and in good working order.
Scaffolding material must always be repaired in consultation with the manufacturer.
