Installing and Removing the Infant Carrier
Installing with Base Using Lap Belt Only
1. Ensure that Rigid LATCH is in the
storage position and, if equipped, unfold
the Load Leg from underneath the Base.
2. Position Base on a rear vehicle seat.
NOTE: If necessary, the Base may
be installed with the Load Leg folded
up underneath the Base. Consult the
vehicle owner's manual and the Load
Leg Warnings on pages 21-22 of this
manual. If ALL installation requirements
for the Load Leg cannot be met, you
MUST choose another seating position
or install the Infant Carrier without the
Base.
3. Adjust the Leveling Foot to
achieve the correct range
for your child's weight
as shown on the Level
Indicator.
