Installing with Base Using Rigid LATCH (Recommended Installation)

7. Push the Base rmly until it rests at
against the vehicle seat back.
8. Grab the Base at the Belt Path and pull
from side to side and front to back to
make sure it is installed correctly. The
Base should not move more than 2.5 cm
(1 inch) in any direction.
NOTE: To achieve a tighter t with Rigid
LATCH, you may need to snug the Base
against the seat back by "walking" the
Base further into position.
To do this, place one hand on the front
of the Base and push toward the vehicle
center until you hear a CLICK, then pull
toward the vehicle door until you hear a
second CLICK, repeating as needed until
tight.
If the Base moves too much, you may
need to try a different vehicle seat
location or installation method, or both.
