STATICPRECAUTIONS
When servicing any Cyrus product, adequate care must be taken during any service
work to observe static precautions, particularly when storing, handling or fitting
replacementcomponents.Thefollowingguidelinesmustbeobserved–
Checkthatallcomponentpurchasesaredeliveredinstatic‐safepackaging.
Storeallcomponentsinastatic‐safeenvironment.
Alwayswearagroundingstrapandworkonagroundedbenchwhenhandling
componentsorservicingaproduct.Staticdamagemaynotbeimmediatelyobvious
andmayresultinadelayedactioncomponent/productfailure.
LEAD‐FREECOMPLIANCE
This product was manufactured using components and processes that do not contain
lead. All components used in the repair should therefore be similarly specified (lead‐
free) and obtained from the spares department at the Cyrus factory. In addition, any
solderorsolder‐pasteusedintherepairprocessmustnot
containlead.Ifinanydoubt
aboutthecorrectprocedures,contacttheCyrusServicedepartmentforadvice.
SOUNDQUALITY
Preservation of the ‘factory’ sound is a priority when servicing a product for a Cyrus
owner. For this reason, please ensure that onlyoriginal specification components are
used,sourcedwherenecessaryfromtheServiceDepartmentattheCyrusfactory.Use
ofinferiorsubstitutecomponentsmaysignificantlydegradethesoundquality.
