Itisimportanttosetthemotordirection,asthiswillinf luencetheprogrammingofthemotorand
thesecurityofthemotor.Themotorissettoautomaticallyclosewheneverthepowerisappliedand
thetestbuttonispressedforthefirsttime.Ifthegateruns openwhenthetestbu ttonispressed
duringprogrammingitmeansthatthemotorwiresareincorrect.Themotorwiresarethetwowires
thatexten dfromtheelectricmotor andareconnectedtothemainPCboard.
Theotherreas onthatthesettingofthemotordirectionisimportant,isthatthemotorwillau tomati
callydrivetotheclosedpositionafteraprolongedpowerfailure(ifthegateisintheopenposition).
Settingthecorrectmotordirectionwill,inthissituation,preventthegat efromsuddenlyopeningand
remainingintheopen position.
ThefollowingdiagramsshowthecorrectwiringoftheelectricmotortothemainPCboard.The
motorwiresarefoundextendingfromthemotor,therearetwowires,onewireisbluetheother
wireisblack.
