System Settings
To access the System Settings page, click on the Maintenance menu link at the top, and then click on the System Settings menu link on the left.
On this page the user can perform maintenance concerning the System. Services
available for configuration are Save and System Reboot, Save Setting To Local
Hard Drive, Backup and Restore Settings, Restore to Factory Default Settings.
Save and Reboot the Device: All settings will be automatically saved to the DSL-
2877AL. There is no need to manually save or reboot.
Local Hard Driver. You will be prompted to select a location on your computer to put
the file. The file type is bin and may be named anything you wish.
Backup Settings: Once you have configured the router to your satisfaction, it is a
good idea to back up the configuration file to your computer. To save the current
configuration settings to your computer, click the Save button of Save Settings to
Restore Settings: To load a previously saved configuration file, click the Browse
button of Load Settings from Local Hard Driver and locate the file on your
computer. Click the Upload Settings button to load the settings from your local hard
drive. Confirm that you want to load the file when prompted. The router will reboot
and begin operating with the configuration settings that have just been loaded
Restore to Factory Default Settings: Restore the default settings if the DSL-
2877AL does not work properly after an abortive configuration Click on the "Restore"
