WARNING: Do NOT plug the adapter into your computer before installing
the drivers. You will be prompted to plug in your adapter during the setup.
Note: If the CD Autorun function does not automatically start on your computer, go to
Start > Run. In the run box type “D:\autorun.exe” (where D: represents the drive letter
of your CD-ROM drive) and click OK.
Installation - Windows
Insert the DWA-582 Driver CD into the CD-ROM drive. When the autorun
screen appears, click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.

When the wizard instructs you to turn o your computer and install the PCIe
adapter into your computer, click Next and then Finish. Shut down your
computer and unplug the power.
Once your computer is turned o, unplug the power cord from the computer.
Open the case and insert the D-Link adapter into an available PCIe slot. Once
inserted, close the case and insert the power cable into the computer. Turn
on your computer.
Note: Before installing, write down the serial number and hardware revision (e.g.,
A1) in case you need to contact technical support.
