enable mld_snooping
Purpose Used to enable MLD snooping globally on the switch.
Syntax
enable mld_snooping {forward_mcrouter_only}
Description This command, in conjunction with the disable mld_snooping will enable and
disable MLD snooping globally on the Switch without affecting configurations.
Parameters forward_mcrouter_only - Specifies that the Switch should only forward all
multicast traffic to a multicast-enabled router. Otherwise, the Switch will
forward all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable MLD snooping globally on the Switch:
DGS-3400:4#enable mld_snooping
Command: enable mld_snooping
Success.
DGS-3400:4#
disable mld_snooping
Purpose Used to disable MLD snooping globally on the switch.
Syntax
disable mld_snooping {forward_mcrouter_only}
Description This command, in conjunction with the enable mld_snooping will enable and
disable MLD snooping globally on the switch without affecting configurations.
Parameters forward_mcrouter_only – Specify to disable the Switch from forwarding all
multicast traffic to a multicast-enabled router. Otherwise, the Switch will
forward all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable MLD snooping globally on the Switch:
DGS-3400:4#disable mld_snooping
Command: disable mld_snooping
Success.
DGS-3400:4#
config mld_snooping
Purpose Used to configure MLD snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
config igmp_snooping [vlan <vlan_name 32> | all]
{node_timeout <sec 1-16711450> | router_timeout <sec 1-16711450> |
done_timer <sec 1-16711450> | state [enable | disable] |
fast_done [enable | disable]}
This command allows you to configure IGMP snooping on the Switch.
