Basic Troubleshooting Instructions
If the range does not function properly, check for obvious problems first, such as the main power
switch being turned off, or the control panel being locked.
If the problem is not immediately obvious, use the Performance Tests in Appendix B and consult
the Troubleshooting Chart on the following pages to help locate the problem.
Troubleshooting Chart - Oven
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES WHAT TO CHECK
Nothing works, no power
to the range, control panel
display is dark, burners do
not spark, burner knobs
don’t light when turned

Range not connected to
