Thisisacontroldevicetocarryoutasynchronizingclosingsafelyandsmoothinoperationofgenerators
inparallelconnections.Attimeofparallelconnection,eachvoltageandfrequencyarecheckedandwhen
thedifferenceiswithinagivenvalue,closingsignalisgiventocircuitbreakeraheadofthesynchronizing
point,accountingonadvancebreakingtime,sothatthecircuitbreaker(CB)canbeclosedatanexact
synchronizingpoint.
Thisunithasalsofunctionsofsynchronismchecksignalandsynchronizingdetectingdisplay.

(4) Synchronizingclosingfunction.
Aftervoltagedifference(ΔV)betweenbusandgeneratorandafterfrequencydifference(ΔF)betweenthem
becomewithinagivenvalue,circuitbreakerclosingsignal(25)isoutputaheadofsynchronizingpoint,
accountingonadvancetimeofclosing,sothatcircuitbreakercanbeclosedatsynchronizingpoint.
“ON”timeofclosingsignal(25)istheadvancetimeplus200ms.Afteraclosingsignaloutput,incasethere
isnophaseshift(10°)for3seconds,itbecomesasynchronizingsuccess.ItbecomesanENDdisplayand
allcontrolisstop.Incaseaphaseshift(10°)isin3seconds,itbecomesasynchronizingclosingfailure.
<Cautions>Fromchangeofphasedifference,thetimetoasynchronizingpointiscalculatedanda
synchronizingclosingsignalisoutputted.Forthisreason,ifafrequencydifferenceis
0.04Hzorless,aninputsignalisnotoutputtedevenifphasedifferenceis0°(inphase).
(5) Alarmfunction.
Whensynchronizingclosingisfailed3timescontinuously,alarm“LED”turnsonabout3secondsafterwards
andcontactsignalisoutput.Afteralarmisoutputted,whenthereisacontrolstart,ΔF,ΔV,and
±15°controlactionarecontinued.Acircuitbreakerclosingsignal(25)isnotoutputted.
Synchronizingclosingfailureisintheconditionthatthephasedifferencebetweenbussideand
generatorsideexceeds10°.
Alarmisreleasedatnovoltageorsynchronizingstart(bothofautoandmanual)is“OFF”.
(6) Settingfunction.
Voltagedifference,frequencydifference,advancetime,pulsewidth/cycleofeachcontrolcanbeset.
