6. Inspecting, handling and unpacking the unit
6.1. Inspection
At delivery, the unit must be checked and any damage must be re-
ported immediately to the carrier’s claims agent.
6.2. Handling
1 When handling the unit, take into account the following:
Fragile, handle the unit with care.
Keep the unit upright in order to avoid compressor damage.
2 Choose beforehand the path along which the unit is to be brought
in.

its original package to prevent damage during transport.

4 Lift the unit preferably with a crane and 2 belts of at least 27 ft.

Always use protectors to prevent belt damage and pay attention to
the position of the unit’s center of gravity.
NOTE
Use a belt sling of d13/16 in. (20 mm) wide that adequately bears the
weight of the unit.
CAUTION
• Lift the unit with caution as the unit’s center of gravity is slightly
to the right side of center when seen from the front (especially,
REYQ192-240A).
• A forklift can only be used for transport as long as the unit remains
on its pallet as shown above.
6.3. Unpacking

WARNING
Tear apart and throw away plastic packaging bags so that children will
not play with them. Children playing with plastic bags face danger of
death by suffocation.
1 Remove the unit from its packing material.
Take care not to damage the unit when unpacking.
