SAFETY INFORMATION
Residual risks
The machine is designed with considerable focus on safe-
ty; nevertheless, the following risks remain.
Crushing risk: lifting the machine incorrectly can lead to
serious injury to people in the vicinity and those involved
in the lifting.
Machine lifting and handling must be carried out accord-
ing to the information provided by the manufacturer (see
“Packing and unpacking”).
Risk of scalds and burns: If the portalter is accidentally
released during coee extraction, this can result in scalds
from hot water spurts.
Make sure the portalter is rmly in place before extracting
the coee.
Mechanical risk: accidental release during coee extrac-
tion can cause injury.

kler, the hot water that comes out the grouphead can scald.

Improper and unauthorised uses
Do not use the machine in the presence of a potentially
ammable and explosive atmosphere.
Do not use the machine outdoors in bad weather condi-
tions or in environments with high humidity.
When making drinks, do not use solid or liquid products not
intended for human consumption, products which could be
harmful for people’s health, or products which could leave
impurities in the drinks.
Do not use any spare parts other than those specied by the
manufacturer to replace machine parts subject to wear.
