9.2 Digital Inputs/Outputs
The Lyra holds 7 digital inputs and outputs. At the rear side of the 19” rack you will find digital I/O 1-6
and at the front side is Digital I/O 7 located. The digital inputs at the rear side can receive either Coax
(SPDIF) or XLR (AES3) digital audio.

GPO-A and GPO-B make connection if the GPO is activated!

Maximum resistance when connection made: 12 Ohm
Maximum Voltage: 24 V
Below you see the layout of the front side digital input. You can choose which type of digital audio
connection you want to use as input: Coax or Optical. The switch in between controls this selection. The
LED's will show which type is used and if a valid digital audio signal is received (NO LOCK led is off when
signal is valid).
