Time control
The temperatures of hot-water-service,
room, flow or duct can be reduced
(increased) by a time program, provided
a time switch is built into the control (see
section on time switch mounting, page
4). Alternatively, an external time switch
can be connected. Time control is also
possible through ECA 9020 or a master
control connected to the BUS.
By setting in P0.3 it is possible to select
precisely the zone that is to control
normal and reduced temperatures, relay
output R1 and relay output R2.
(Changeover between normal and
reduced temperature always follows the
zone that controls R1).
For position P0.3, see page 15.
External time switch
External time control is possible via
override module ECA 9010 on time
switch input terminals 2, 3 and 4. Time
control applies only to relay R1 and can
only be received by the EPU when the
function selector is in position
.
ECA 9010 is necessary when the
contact set in the external time switch is
not gold plated.
The contact set must be connected to
one of the ECA 9010 inputs. The
following time control functions are
possible:
If the contact set is gold plated,
connection can be made direct to control
terminals 3 and 4. Closed contact gives
normal temperature.
