Chapter 9.0 Minimum Unloading Capacity

Due to the nature of centrifugal compression, the minimum stable load is dependent on the pressure

ratio imposed on the compressor by the chiller system. All compressor performance, including

unloading, should be determined through use of the relevant compressor selection/rating programs.
