To replace the optional Yag Cut lens filter
1. Remove the four cover screws and carefully remove the cover. See “To remove the
cover” on page 13.
2. Gently squeeze the clips on each side of the filter holder while you gently pull
straight up from the illuminator.
3. Align the Poron filter holder to the lens. Gently squeeze the clips on each side of
the filter while you gently press straight down on the filter. The filter is equipped
with two pins at the bottom that guide its insertion into the product.
4. Finally, mount the cover back on the reader body. See “To replace the cover” on
page 14.
CAUTION
The reader must be disconnected from the power supply during the proce-
dure.
CAUTION
Make sure to operate in a dust-free environment during the cover replace-
ment procedure.
NOTE
You can mount the filter in two equivalent directions by rotating it 180°.
CAUTION
Make sure that the filter is correctly placed without any tilt before mount-
ing the cover back on the reader body.
