Removing the power-adapter port

Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the memory modules.
4. Remove the wireless card.
5. Remove the display assembly.
6. Remove the system board.
Procedure
1. Remove the screw (M2x2) that secures the power-adapter port to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Peel off the power-adapter port cable from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift the power-adapter port, along with its cable, off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
