Understanding the Operator Panel Lights
The operator panel lights mean different things, depending on their sequence. Orange or green lights that are off, on, and/or blinking indicate printer
conditions such as printer status, intervention (for example, out of paper), or service.
Common Light Sequences
The following table shows the most common light status.
Orange blinks
A paper jam occurred.
Single Sheet Feeder
Green on
Paper is set to the single sheet feeder.
Green blinks
Reload paper to the single sheet feeder.
Orange blinks
A paper jam occurred.
Toner
Orange blinks
The toner is empty or toner error occurred.
Orange on
The toner is low.
Cancel
-
Press the Cancel button to cancel a job or clear an error.
Jam/Front Cover Open
Orange blinks
A paper jam occurred or the front cover is open.
Off
On
