Removing the keyboard
Prerequisites
1 Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the microSD card.
3 Remove the base cover.
4 Remove the battery.
Steps
1 Disconnect the keyboard cable from the connector on the keyboard interposer board [1].
2 Use a plastic scribe to release the keyboard from the two release holes in the system [2].
3 Push the keyboard cable through the gap in the palmrest [3].
NOTE
: The two release holes for the keyboard are indicated by the "KB" labeling.
