connector on your computer).
CAUTION: To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery
(see "Removing the Battery" on page 13) before working inside the computer.
Removing the I/O Card

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 13.

Remove the module cover. See "Removing the Module Cover" on page 15.

Remove the memory modules. See "Removing the Memory Module(s)" on
page 17.

Remove the hard drive assembly. See "Removing the Hard-Drive
Assembly" on page 21.

Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 25.

Remove the wireless Mini-Card. See "Removing the Mini-Card" on
page 35.

Remove the system board. See "Removing the System Board" on page 59.
9
Disconnect the speaker cable and the thermal-fan cable from the I/O
board.
