Removing the power-adapter port
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the power-adapter port and provides a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Lift the Mylar that covers the system board.
2. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right-display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Pry open the right-display hinge.
4. Disconnect the power-adapter port from the system board.
