Removing the touchpad
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the:
a base cover
b battery
c SSD card
d SSD frame
e WLAN card
f WWAN card
g chassis frame
3 To remove the touchpad panel:
a Disconnect the touchpad panel cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b Remove the two M2x3 screws that secure the touchpad panel to the system. [2].
c Lift the touchpad panel from the system [3].
Installing touchpad panel
1 Place the touchpad panel into its slot on the chassis.
2 Tighten the two screws to secure the touchpad panel to your system.
