Removing the Hinge Covers
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the screw that secures the hinge covers to the computer.
4. Slide the hinge cover toward the back of the computer and remove the hinge cover.
5. Repeat step 3 and step 4 to remove the other hinge cover.
Replacing the Hinge Covers
To replace the hinge covers, perform the above steps in reverse order.
