Installing the Camera
1. Insert the camera to its place on the display assembly.
2. Connect the camera cable to its connector.
3. Install the:
a. display panel
b. display bezel
c. battery
d. base cover
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
Removing the eDP Cable
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
c. memory
d. hard-drive assembly
e. keyboard trim
f. keyboard
g. palmrest
h. display-hinge brackets
i. display assembly
j. display bezel
k. display panel
3. Perform the following steps to remove the eDP cable from the computer:
a. Disconnect the eDP cable from its connector [1].
b. Peel the eDP cable [2] and remove the eDP cable from the computer [3].
