Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps
1. To remove the dummy metal bracket, insert a flat-head screwdriver in the hole of the bracket from the outside of the
computer. Push the bracket to release it, and then remove it out from the computer.
NOTE: This step applies if you are upgrading the computer with no existing I/O module.
2. Hold the optional Type-C module in place above the system board.
3. Connect the Type-C signal cable to its connector (SIGNAL) on the system board.
4. Connect the Type-C USB cable to its connector (TYPE-C) on the system board.
5. Connect the Type-C DisplayPort cable to its connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
