Steps
1. In reverse sequential order (3->2->1), loosen the three captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
NOTE:
If either the processor or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal paste that is provided in the kit to ensure that
thermal conductivity is achieved.
