Removing the battery cable
CAUTION: The information in this removal section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
NOTE: If the battery is disconnected from the system board for service, then there is a delay during boot as the computer
undergoes RTC battery reset.

1. Turn the battery over and peel the battery cable from the battery.
