3.13.7 Secure Mode
BIOS can enter a secure boot mode through setup. This mode includes the option to lock out the power and
NMI switches on the control panel or to set up a system password.
3.14 USB Key
Dell does not offer USB keys for factory installation. The PowerEdge R415 supports two internal USB
connectors which can be used for USB keys.
3.15 Battery
A replaceable coin-cell CR2032 3V battery is mounted on the planar to provide backup power for the Real-
Time Clock and CMOS RAM on the AMD SP5100 chip.
