15.6 iDRAC6 Enterprise
The optional iDRAC6 Enterprise card provides access to advanced iDRAC6 features. The iDRAC6 Enterprise
connects directly to the R415 planar and is mounted parallel to the planar with stand-offs.
Key features for the iDRAC6 Enterprise include:
Scripting capability with Dell’s Racadm command-line
Remote video, keyboard, and mouse control with Virtual Console
Remote media access with Virtual Media
Dedicated network interface
Additionally, the iDRAC6 Enterprise can be upgraded by adding the vFlash Media card. This is a 1 GB Dell
branded SD card that enables a persistent 256 MB virtual flash partition. In the future, vFlash will be
expanded to include additional features.
