Removing the Fan
1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2. Follow the instructions in Removing the System Board.
3. Remove the screw that secures the fan to the computer base.
4. Lift the fan, along with the cable, off the computer.
Replacing the Fan
1. Place the fan, along with the cable, on the computer base.
2. Replace the screw that secures the fan to the computer base.
3. Follow the instructions Replacing the System Board.
