2. For computers shipped with an aluminum chassis, remove the right and left RF metal wall bracket from the palm-rest and
keyboard assembly.
NOTE: The left and right RF metal wall brackets MUST be transferred to the replacement palm-rest and keyboard
assembly.
3. After performing the pre-requisites, you are left with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

The system board can be installed with the heat sink attached to it in order to simplify the procedure and preserve
the thermal bond between the system board and heat sink.
