Parameter Name Explanation Remark
Node
heartbeat
producer time
Slave sends the heartbeat message to
master in cycle of “Node heartbeat
producer time”
Heartbeat
Master
consumer
time-out
If master does not receive the heartbeat
message from slave within the period of
“master consumer timeout”, master
assumes the slave is offline.
The time for “Master consumer
timeout” should be longer than
that for “slave heartbeat
producer time”.
Node list
All nodes configurated in CANopen
network are all displayed in node list.

Heartbeat consumer
The node configurating “error control
setting” can monitor whether the nodes
in the window of “Heartbeat consumer”
are offline.
In”Heartbeat monitoring” is
configurated only one node.

Select some node in “Node list” and add
it to the window of “heartbeat monitoring”
by clicking the icon
.

Select one node in “Heartbeat” and then
delete the selected node by clicking the
icon
.

“Edit” Button
Select one node in “Heartbeat
monitoring” and revise the monitoring
time clicking “Edit…”

“OK” Button
By clicking “OK” return to the dialogue
box of “Node configuration” and the
parameters set in “Error control setting”
are saved

“Cancel” Button
By clicking “Cancel” return to the
dialogue box of “Node configuration” and
the parameters set in “Error control
setting” are invalid.
