Appendix A, Welding Speed / Temperature Chart
Refer to Appendix A for recommended preliminary speeds and temperatures for a wide
range of material types and thicknesses. This chart is a great reference tool, however all
site conditions are different and the settings recommended on the chart may not be suitable
for your specific site. Please contact a DEMTECH technical representative for advice on
appropriate settings.
Appendix B, Speed Setting versus Actual Travel Rate Chart
Refer to Appendix B for a chart showing the travel (welding) speed of the Pro-Wedge at
various speed pot settings. Keep in mind that actual speed, especially at the highest setting
(999) may vary depending on power supply, length of cords, etc.
