What to do if my Denon DHT-FS5 Home Theater System does not turn on?
    • D
Dr. Brenda Mitchell PhDJul 30, 2025
If your Denon Home Theater System doesn't power on, check the fuse. If the fuse is okay, the PSU UNIT might be faulty and need replacement. Also, verify the power supply voltages, specifically +5.1V at connector CN3(J2):1pin (Voltage value:5.1V), +38V at connector CN2(J3):1pin (Voltage value:38V), and +16V at connector CN2(J3):3pin (Voltage value:14V). Check the Power On signal, checking both the POWER KEY signal STBY[connector CN3(J2):3pin] and KEY[connector 1302:7pin]. If these checks do not resolve the issue, the SIGNAL UNIT or FRONT UNIT may need replacement.

Why does the display not show on my Denon DHT-FS5 Home Theater System?

      Sandra MccannAug 12, 2025
If the display (7Seg-LED or Mode-LED) on your Denon Home Theater System isn't showing anything, first check the power supply voltages and soldering on the FRONT UNIT, specifically at connector 1107:3,8pin. Ensure +3.3V is present at connector 1107:3pin (Voltage value:3.3V) and +5.1V at connector 1107:8pin (Voltage value:5.1V) on the FRONT UNIT, and connector 1302:3,8pin on the SIGNAL UNIT. Next, verify the communication waveform for µCOM, checking the soldering at connector 1107:4-6pin on the FRONT UNIT (CP[connector 1107:4pin], DA[connector 1107:5pin], STR[connector 1107:6pin]) and connector 1302:4-6pin on the SIGNAL UNIT. If the issue persists, the FRONT UNIT or SIGNAL UNIT might need replacement.
