    • J
      Justin KingAug 23, 2025
Your Denon Home Theater System remote might not be working for several reasons: the batteries may be worn out (replace them with new ones), you may be operating outside the specified range, there might be an obstacle between the unit and the remote, the batteries might be inserted incorrectly (check the polarity), the remote sensor could be exposed to strong light (move the set), or the SOURCE CONTROL switch position is incorrect (set it for the device you wish to use).

Why does my Denon S-102 Home Theater System power turn off suddenly?
    • W
      warrenlisaAug 26, 2025
Your Denon Home Theater System might be shutting down suddenly due to the activation of the protection circuit. This can be caused by a rise in internal temperature (turn off the power, let it cool down, and then turn it back on; also, place the set in a well-ventilated area). Another cause could be core wires of two speakers touching each other or a core wire sticking out and touching the rear panel (unplug the power cord, twist the core wires tightly or terminate the speaker cables, then reconnect). If these steps don't resolve the issue, the set may be damaged.
