(1) Tray is opened and CD DOOR is removed.
(2) Remove the screws. Remove the connector.
(3) Laser short-circuit in Pick-up of CD MECHANISM ASS'Y, then disconnect the connector wires and FFC cable.
Be sure to wear a grounding band.
