(1) In case of shutdown due to action of engine protective devices, turn the starter switch
“ OFF ” position to reset these protective devices.
When making inspection and remedy on defected part, close the fuel cock, and disconnected
the battery cable on negative side of this machine for safety sake.
(2) The engine cannot start immediately after the engine stop due to the engine stop
confirmation time ( for T4 sec. ) . The engine can start after T4 sec.
4-7 Fault diagnosis
Refer the engine instruction manual for this engine. Check disconnection and bat
connection of wires without fail.
4-7-1 Starting failure ( causes )
(1) Engine cannot start even after receiving start-signal at remote operation.
Remote unit defective (N3) --------------------------------------Replacement
(2) The starter motor cannot work, poor cranking. Or the starter motor stopped just
after the starting of engine cranking, etc.
Battery defective, short capacity, low voltage-------------Charging, or replacement
Starter motor defective------------------------------------------Remedy, or replacement

Relay defective (K11) -------------------------------------------Replacement
(3) Others
No fuel in fuel tank ----------------------------------------------Fuel supply
