WARNING!
All maintenance and repair work must be performed with the machine turned o.
Timely maintenance will extend the life of the tool and increase eciency. With the exception of the
operations mentioned herein, the unit should be serviced by qualied personnel at an authorized service
center.
Each time work is completed, check the unit for component integrity and tightness of connections.
If necessary, contact an authorized service center.

Air lter
Do not operate the saw without an air lter. Dust and particulate matter can enter the engine,
dust and solid particles may get into the engine and cause damage and malfunction. Keep the air lter clean!
Clean the air lter:
1. Remove the air lter cover 1 (Fig. 24) by unfastening the latches 3. Use a screwdriver with a spark plug
wrench 2.
2. Unscrew nut 4 (Fig. 25) and remove the lter 5.
3. Clean the air lter by tapping it lightly on a hard surface. Blow out the inside with compressed air (not
more than 2 bar).
