3.1.3.13 Stress test
This function is used in the production phase of the instrument to stress the Motor and
the Reading Unit.
First of all, put something on top of the unit to close the holes for the tubes, then press
START once the desired parameters have been set.
The test will perform several Reading Procedures, by moving the motor up and down
and activating only one LEDs for each cycle.
A step loss control and the light level of each sensor is monitored cycle-by-cycle.
An error counter for the Motor error is increased for each step loss error.
An error counter for each sensor is also incremented if the light level is outside the
expected range (dark when the corresponding LED is OFF; light when the
corresponding is ON).
This function can be useful to check the integrity of the unit’s hardware.
The suggested number of cycles is 200 maximum, with a pause of 5 seconds between
each cycle.
