5. INSTALLATION
5.1. Important precaution
I Before installing the equipment follow imperatively the following instructions:
The treatment capacity of the equipment must be adapted to the volume of the pool to be treated, the use frequency of
the pool, the presence of other equipment (overflow, water mirror, slide, etc.), as well as climatic conditions of the
installation site.
Use water from the urban water supply network. Prohibit any water of natural origin (rain, runoff, lake, drilling), at risk of
premature deterioration of the electrolysis cell.
Prohibit any anti-algae including copper or other metals, at risk of premature deterioration of the electrolysis cell.
Check the condition and correct operation of the filter pump and the filter. Check the flow of the filtration pump, the
capacity of the filter, and the outside diameter of the pipes (either 50 or 63 mm).
The equipment must be installed in a closed, dry, sufficiently ventilated room, protected from water splashes and UV rays.
The ambient temperature inside the room must not exceed 40°C.
→ If the room is located in a country with a hot and humid climate, it must be air-conditioned.
→ If this room is located in a country with a temperate climate, it must imperatively be equipped with forced ventilation.
Determine a precise location for installing each piece of equipment, taking into account its size and the length of the
electrical cables. Also provide additional space around the installation to facilitate maintenance work.
Respect exactly the position of the different pieces in relation to each other according to the direction of the fluids as
indicated on the installation plan.
Install the cell and the accessory horizontally and after any other treatment, cleaning or heating equipment (just before the
discharge into the pool)
For the protection of goods and people, the cell and the flow controller must be imperatively connected in series (not in
parallel) and the cell must be placed just after the flow controller.
If constraints related to the filtration circuit require a different installation from that described in the installation diagram,
have this installation validated by a professional.
It is imperative to maintain a sufficient water flow in the cell when it is powered. If the filtration pump is variable-flow,
install a flow sensor so that the electrolysis stops automatically when the flow is insufficient.
The water pressure in the cell must not be higher than 3 bar. All hydraulic elements of the installation must withstand the
water pressure that may occur during normal use. No parts should leak, including the pipes.
