Démarragesécuritaire
Cette caractéristique du démarreur empêchera les démarrages à distance accidentels, par
exemple lorsque des enfants jouent avec la télécommande.
Démarrage sécuritaire activé : Lorsque le démarrage sécuritaire est activé à l’installation,
l’utilisateur doit actionner la touche 2 fois en 3 secondes pour démarrer le véhicule à distance.
Démarrage sécuritaire spécial : Lorsque le Démarrage sécuritaire est activé à l’installation,
l’utilisateur doit;
Télécommande bidirectionnelle :
1. Appuyez 1 fois sur la touche AUX
2. La touche de la télécommande s’allumera.
3. Pendant que la touche est allumée, appuyez sur pour démarrer le véhicule à distance.
Remarque : La sortie AUX 2 peut alors être actionnée par le biais de la touche .
Télécommande unidirectionnelle :
1. Appuyer rapidement 2 fois sur la touche AUX. Pendant que la DEL de la télécommande
clignote, appuyer sur pour faire démarrer le véhicule à distance.
Remarque : La sortie AUX 2 peut alors être actionnée par le biais du bouton .
Tempsdemarchedumoteur
Si votre véhicule est muni d’un moteur à essence, votre système peut être réglé pour maintenir le
moteur en marche pendant 3, 15 ou 25 minutes (15 minutes par défaut). Pour un moteur diesel, le
système peut être réglé pour maintenir le moteur en marche pendant 8, 20 ou 30 minutes 20
minutes par défaut).
ModeTurbo
Si le mode Turbo est configuré à l’installation, vous aurez la possibilité de laisser le
turbocompresseur de votre véhicule reposer lorsque vous le quittez : le Télédémarreur prendra le
véhicule en charge et le maintiendra en marche pendant 60 secondes (ou jusqu’à ce que le moteur
soit éteint par la télécommande), puis éteindra le moteur.
Si votre véhicule est muni d’une transmission automatique, procédez comme suit pour faire
passer le véhicule en mode Turbo :
1. Alors que le moteur est en marche, relâchez la pédale de frein et appuyez sur la touche
,
ou de la télécommande jusqu’à ce que les feux de stationnement
s’allument.
Remarque : SmartStart

peut être configuré pour utiliser l’icône SmartStart

pour activer le
mode Turbo.
2. Retirez la clé du commutateur d’allumage. Le moteur sera maintenu en marche.
3. Sortez du véhicule et fermez toutes les portières, le capot et le coffre.
4. Appuyez sur
; ceci verrouillera les portières et armera l’alarme de type d’origine (si
configurée), et confirmera que le véhicule est en mode Turbo.
5. Le moteur sera éteint après avoir tourné 60 secondes en mode Turbo.
Si votre véhicule est muni d’une transmission manuelle, suivez toutes les étapes de la routine du
mode Prêt à démarrer (page-10) pour activer le mode Turbo. À la dernière étape;
x Appuyez sur la touche pour verrouiller les portières et éteindre le moteur après
60 sec.;

Arming
Arming of the system can be program by your installer into 4 different options. By default, your
system is programmed to “passive arming – 2 stage disarm”:
x Active arming: The system will only arm if button is pressed
x Passive arming (2 stage disarm): The system will automatically arm itself 30 seconds
after all doors, hood and trunk are closed.
Note: If an alarm is triggered, pressing the
button will stop the siren while keeping
the doors locked and the system armed.
x Passive arming (1 stage disarm): The system will automatically arm itself 30 seconds
after all doors, hood and trunk are closed
Note: If an alarm is triggered, pressing the
button will stop the siren and unlock the
doors.
x Active arming with disarm notification: This feature will notify the user when the
vehicle is left disarmed after Ignition is turned off, or when the Module is disarmed after
being previously armed, the opening or closing of a Door will cause the Horn or the
Siren to sound once after 10 sec. to warn the user that the vehicle was left
unprotected. Pressing or
will cancel this timer.
ShockSense&WarnAwaysense
If somebody hits, jostles or otherwise moves your car, the shock sensor sends a signal to the brain
indicating the intensity of the motion. Depending on the severity of the shock, the system can react
to a full shock by triggering the alarm or it can also respond to a lighter shock (30 % of the strength
of a full shock) by giving a warn-away (without triggering an Alarm condition). However, when the
Engine is running after a remote start, the full shock is disabled but will still give a warning sound if
warn-away is enabled.
Note: Refer to your installer if you wish to disable the shock sensor permanently.
Siren/HornChirpTiming
The pulse duration can be configured by your installer (from 5 ms. to 200 ms.).
Prioritydoor:
If configured by your installer, this great feature allows you to unlock solely the driver’s door with a
single press of the
button on the transmitter, and to unlock the other doors, if desired, by
pressing the
button for a second time.
MulticarOperation
This option allows the owner of two vehicles, both equipped with the same remote starter model, to
control both systems independently with a single remote control. To control the second vehicle:
